About

Reservations are required for camping in the five campgrounds, and dispersed camping is prohibited. Reservations must be made through Recreation.gov—this can be done in advance or on-site once a campsite has been selected, if availability allows. Stays are limited to 7 days per month. Each of the campgrounds has one or more accessible vault toilets, but none have electricity, running water, or trash cans. Please pack out all trash, including dog waste. Firewood gathering is not allowed. Single campsites are limited to 10 people and two vehicles, while group sites are limited to 20 people and up to 5 vehicles*. Sites vary in vehicle size capacity, so check the details about your selected campsite before making the reservation. Vehicles must be parked in designated areas; parking off-road is not allowed. *Vehicle is defined as freeway legal transportation used to access the site (i.e. car, truck or motorcycle). A truck hauling a toy-hauler trailer and UTV is one vehicle, per the purposes of the reservation and length-limitations. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am and check out time is 12:00, noon. Please respect other campers. Fluffle Campground Group sites with varying capacities that can accommodate up to five vehicles (see individual campsite descriptions for vehicle limitations). Sites can accommodate vehicles up to 60 feet in length. There are day-use trailer parking spaces and a 4-pen corral here as well. High North Campground Site one is a group use site that can accommodate vehicles up to 60 feet in length. Vehicles longer than 50 feet will want to consider approaching the campground from the north via Hwy-6, as the access road from I-70 requires a tight switchback turn. All other sites can accommodate two vehicles of various lengths, see individual site details for vehicle length limitations. Koniklos (Equestrian) Campground This campground is intended to be used solely by visitors who visit Rabbit Valley for horseback riding. Each site has an individual corral. Campsites can accommodate two vehicles up to 60 feet in length. The road to this campsite is through a rocky wash and is not easily accessed by low-clearance vehicles. There are ten parking spaces and two corrals for day-use. Additional day-use parking and corrals are available at the Fluffle Campground.
