About
Susquehannock Campground offers a peaceful, primitive camping experience along the shores of Raystown Lake, nestled among the forested ridges of central Pennsylvania . The campground features more than 60 recently renovated, non-electric campsites, including over 20 tent-only sites. Many sites offer waterfront views, while others are nestled among the campground’s wooded, hilly terrain, providing a more secluded camping experience. Each campsite includes a level camping and parking pad, picnic table, fire ring with grill, and lantern pole. As a primitive campground, Susquehannock does not offer electric, water, or sewer hookups. Vault toilets are available throughout the campground, and campers can access potable water near the campground entrance. Hot showers and flush restrooms are available at Seven Points Beach, approximately a 15-minute drive away. Susquehannock is especially popular with mountain bikers because of its convenient access to the internationally acclaimed 36-mile Allegrippis Trail System. Campers can also enjoy easy access to Raystown Lake for boating, fishing, swimming, paddling, and other water-based recreation from the Susquehannock shoreline, as well as nearby hiking trails and other outdoor activities. With its scenic waterfront setting and secluded atmosphere, Susquehannock is an ideal choice for campers seeking a quieter, more natural camping experience while still being within a short drive of the beaches, marina, restaurants, shopping, and other amenities of the Seven Points area.
